3rd of 3 Endurance Building days -Happy Girl: Angry Quads forgave me til I was done!

Oops! Maybe I enjoyed my run a bit too much. I admit I pushed the pace more than I was supposed to but it was such a gorgeous day by the time I got out the door.

Big party on the lake last evening kept waking me up from 2am on with their noisy engines - snowmobiles and atv's. it meant a much later start which meant I wouldn't get all I had to do this weekend done. Mainly household chores but it means my one evening off tomorrow will become a lot busier which sucks.

Quads weren't happy at all this morning but after a good 30 min warm-up  forgave me and performed well.

Glad tomorrow is a recovery day and the start of Base 2 Recovery & Test Week. I can feel the accumulated fatigue of the last two weeks. Satisfying feeling though that no workouts were missed. No illness besides Wednesday's mental meltdown and am allergic reaction to the poor air quality at work on Friday which I was worried might have been a cold - emptied an entire box of tissue! It happens when they turn on a fan above my workstation. Not just me - heard lots of people sneezing. Touching wood - no injuries just normal muscle soreness. Did self massage last night, this morning and will do tonight. Think I do a core strength and stretching session tomorrow morning for active recovery and maybe a  bit more stretching before bed.
