Big Love to my ANGELS - Champs again!

I took a leave of absence from playing ball this Spring/early Summer and the part I've missed the most is the wonderful team of women I have the joy and honour to play with - The Prefect Pour ANGELS.

Early days of the now Angels then HTC Trucking

The team has held my spot on the roster - despite often barely having enough players to avoid a forfeit. I know my absence has added to the stress of finding enough players during our regular season especially. My position as catcher in an orthodox league makes it even harder as not everyone is comfortable behind homeplate where your active every pitch.

2013 Perfect Pour Angels - UNDEFEATED ALL SEASON including two tournaments! We ARE the Champions

I am grateful to my team for allowing me to focus on my Ironman training and dream. And particularly those who took a turn behind the mask and pads - in the crouch! Thank you Angels.

Now - the team haven't missed me to much as I've yet to hear of a loss in the regular season and once again they won the Championship League Tournament in  June where they had to play 4 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday and brought home the trophy undefeated.

I am so proud of the team and the coaches. Congratulations! I love you all and will see you on the field of dreams the week of August 11th (hope I still know how to toss and catch ... And can run by then lol!)

The June 2014 Tournament Champs Perfect Pour Angels!!!! You Rock!!!
